{"id":3034,"date":"2021-11-14T10:52:22","date_gmt":"2021-11-14T18:52:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/antoine.wojdyla.fr\/blog\/?p=3034"},"modified":"2021-12-06T08:56:21","modified_gmt":"2021-12-06T16:56:21","slug":"scientists-on-screen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/antoine.wojdyla.fr\/blog\/2021\/11\/14\/scientists-on-screen\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists on screen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There isn&#8217;t much representation of scientists in popular culture, with a only few movies standing out, such as a &#8220;<strong>A Beautiful Mind<\/strong>&#8221; (on John Nash) or &#8220;<strong>Good Will Hunting<\/strong>.&#8221; There&#8217;s been a few more in the biopic genre lately, such as the &#8220;<strong>Imitation Game<\/strong>&#8221; on Alan Turing or &#8220;<strong>The Theory of Everything<\/strong>&#8221; on Stephen Hawking, and soon <strong>a movie on Robert Oppenheimer<\/strong> by Chris Nolan.<\/p>But the representation of women in science and technology is even less frequent.
